BIBLE EXHORTATION
Jesus taught that there are different kinds of seeds and that what is planted eventually produces a harvest.
In Matthew 13:24–30, Jesus gave the parable of the wheat and the tares. A man sowed good seed in his field, but an enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat.
This illustration teaches us the importance of spiritual discernment. Not everything planted produces good fruit. In our lives, we must allow God’s Word to expose, remove, and replace anything that contradicts His will.
Matthew 15:13 says:
“Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.”
The believer therefore has confidence in God to remove every work that He did not establish.
Our warfare is not against people. We do not accuse or attack individuals. Instead, we stand against sin, deception, destructive spiritual influences, ungodly patterns, and every work that contradicts God’s Word.
1 John 3:8 declares that Jesus Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.
Therefore, pray with faith. Ask God to uproot what He did not plant and establish what agrees with His purpose.
PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a farmer who discovers weeds growing among his crops. The farmer does not merely cut off the visible leaves. He identifies the unwanted plants and removes them from the root so they cannot continue producing harmful growth.
In the same way, some destructive patterns require deeper spiritual attention.
A person may continually experience fear, bitterness, deception, destructive habits, or repeated wrong choices. Prayer brings these matters before God, while repentance, wisdom, accountability, and obedience help remove the roots that sustain them.
When the wrong seed is removed and good seed is planted, a different harvest begins to appear.
