PRAYER FOCUS

BIBLE EXHORTATION
Evangelism is a divine assignment given to followers of Jesus Christ. The command to preach the Gospel does not mean that every person will immediately accept the message. Jesus Himself warned His disciples that they would encounter opposition and rejection.
Therefore, the evangelist must not measure faithfulness by applause, acceptance, or immediate results.
Paul declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel because it is the power of God unto salvation. The believer’s responsibility is to faithfully proclaim Christ; the Holy Spirit works in hearts and brings conviction.
Before evangelism, pray for boldness. Pray for wisdom. Pray for compassion. Pray for protection. Pray for divine appointments. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of those who hear.
Do not go out in anger against people. The battle is not against human beings. Ephesians 6:12 reminds believers that the struggle is spiritual. PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION
A messenger may carry an important letter, but fear of the person receiving it can cause the messenger to remain silent.
In the same way, a believer can carry the message of eternal hope through Jesus Christ while struggling with fear of rejection, embarrassment, criticism, or opposition.
But when the Holy Spirit empowers the messenger, fear no longer controls the assignment.
