However, Scripture assures us that no weapon formed against God’s children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Throughout the Bible, we see examples of raging spiritual opposition. Pharaoh resisted Israel’s freedom, Goliath challenged God’s people, Haman plotted against the Jews, Sanballat and Tobiah opposed Nehemiah’s rebuilding project, and Satan resisted Joshua the high priest. Yet every one of these oppositions eventually collapsed before God’s power.
As a believer clothed with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18), you have authority through Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus is above every principality, power, ruler of darkness, and spiritual wickedness (Philippians 2:9–11). Prophetic Illustration
Imagine a mighty river flowing toward the ocean. Along its journey, enormous rocks attempt to block its movement. Yet the river never permanently stops. It either pushes the rocks aside, rises above them, or carves a new pathway until it reaches its destination.
