Prayer Focus

Bible Exhortation
Bitterness is dangerous because it can grow silently until it contaminates relationships and produces strife. Scripture warns believers to remove bitterness, wrath, anger, evil speaking, and malice. God desires His children to walk in forgiveness, love, peace, and unity.
Ephesians 4:31–32 says:

Prophetic Illustration
Imagine a beautiful family garden where everyone once enjoyed shade, fruit, and fellowship. If poisonous weeds are allowed to grow beneath the surface, they eventually choke the healthy plants. Bitterness operates in a similar way. An offense may appear small, but when it is continually nourished by resentment, anger, suspicion, or unforgiveness, it can become a destructive root.
