Exhortation
In the Bible, Elijah stood as a symbol of boldness, divine intervention, and God’s power over evil. On Mount Carmel, he called upon the God of Israel, and fire came down to consume the sacrifice, demonstrating that our God answers by fire. Strange fires represent anything that seeks to oppose, corrupt, or substitute the fire of God in our lives—sin, demonic oppression, ungodly influences, or spiritual stagnation. When we call on the God of Elijah, He arises to quench every strange fire, silence the adversary, and establish His dominion. Let us stand in faith, knowing that the same God who answered Elijah by fire is still able to deliver, purify, and restore today.
