Exhortation:
Beloved, in times of distress, in moments when we feel like we are at the end of our strength, it is vital to look to the God of Elijah. He is the One who answers by fire, the One who sent help from above when Elijah cried out. Just as Elijah was divinely aided in his moment of need, we too can trust in God’s power to intervene in our lives. Today, as we pray and worship, let us boldly cry out to the God of Elijah. Let us declare that we receive divine assistance from the heavens, for our God is faithful to rescue, deliver, and restore.

Confession:
I declare that I serve a God who answers by fire. The God of Elijah is my God, and He will send help from above to deliver me from every attack, oppression, and difficulty. I trust in His timing, and I receive divine intervention and restoration. I speak deliverance into every area of my life, and I command every power that is blocking my help to be destroyed in Jesus’ name. The heavens are open, and my help has arrived!

“Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.”This verse speaks to God’s mighty ability to turn the hearts of men and intervene in dire situations. Just as He answered Elijah’s prayer on Mount Carmel, so will He answer our cry for help.
