Exhortation

Temptations are a part of the Christian journey. Even our Lord Jesus Christ faced temptations, yet He overcame through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 4:1-11). Temptations come to test our faith and commitment to God, but we are assured in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that God will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear. Overcoming temptation requires spiritual vigilance, prayer, and the grace of God. As we rely on His power, we can triumph over every snare of the enemy.

Praise and Worship

1. Sing praises to the Lord, who is our refuge and strength.
2. Worship the Lord for His faithfulness in delivering us from evil.

Confession

“I am more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me. I overcome every temptation by the blood of Jesus and the Word of my testimony. The Lord is my shield and strong tower; no evil shall overpower me. I declare that I walk in the Spirit, and I will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The grace of God is sufficient for me, and His power is made perfect in my weakness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
