THE CHAIN BREAKER
One of the greatest mysteries of life is that great deal of problems are traced to hidden chains. Unfortunately, most of these chains are not visible to the naked eyes. Hence, many people are not conscious of the fact that their lives are negatively affected by some hideous, invisible chains. These passages teach a lot concerning chains.
Exodus 2:23 says:
And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink.
Exodus 6:5:
And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
Exodus 13:3:
And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
Deuteronomy 26:6:
And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:
Isaiah 14:3:
And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve.
In the physical realm, chains are detested as they constitute hindrances to free movement and progress. A lot of people are smarting from the pains of stubborn chains. To make matters worse, there are people who are victims of multiple chains. When chains are in place, there are lots of tragedies, ugly situations, inhibitions and knotty problems. For a very long time, many people have been moving in circles being hamstrong by consequences of being under terrible chains. Some chains have given birth to madness and others have produced serious instability. Other have rendered their victims completely useless. It is saddening that some chains have taken people to places from where they cannot return. Unless we deal with the problem of satanic chains, we may get to a situation where all things are turned upside down for us.
Chains constitute a formidable weapon of darkness and breed shame. The devil has also chained many people and dribbled men, women and children to a point of total exhaustion.
It is my prayer for you that God will locate your particular chains, break them and set you free. God has promised to terminate your chains and set you free from every instrument of darkness used by the devil to restrict your movement or subject you to some sort of unbearable punishment. Much as Satan has been subjecting people to harassment his major preoccupation to hold them in chains. However, it is also God’s preoccupation to grant liberty to victims of satan’s chains and to open prison doors for them. One thing we are to be grateful to God for is that He has uncommon passion for those who are bound.
Psalm 107: 14-16 says:
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
Here, we discover the fact that chains are in different sizes and dimensions. A simple chain can be used to render the hands or feet incapacitated. A magnificent chain can come in the form of a lofty gate or a fortified prison gate.
Isaiah 45:2 says:
I will go before thee. and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass. and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
No matter the size of your chain, God has the capacity to break any type of chain. One unforgettable fact which I want you to take note of is that the journey of destiny cannot be made without instances of chain attacks. If things appear smooth today, do not lose sight of the fact that the enemy is lurking around the corner, holding the chains to bind and make life miserable.
The story of Apostle Paul teaches us that whenever anyone sets out on a journey, or begins a project, the devil also programmes his own agenda. He introduces the use of chains with an eye on throwing spanner in the works. He may not prevent you from coming up with notable goals, he may not stop you from presenting an intelligent proposal, he may even give you all the liberty to get started. All he will simply do is introduce an agenda to make you fall.
Act 1:8 says:
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The apostles were given a mandate. They started quite well attracting uncommon attention.
Act 12:1 – 7 says:
Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
The devil knew that if they were left to move unhindered, his kingdom would be embarrassed. At that moment, he reared up his ugly head and started an agenda of vexing the church. Peter became a victim of wicked chains that were so strong. Soldiers were made to keep watch over him. But glory be to God, that the chains were eventually useless. The devil thought that putting Peter in a deplorable state had been perfected. But God proved him wrong. I speak to you by the anointing of God that the same God who made Peter’s chain to fall off will set you free, in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus.
I want you to pray the following with aggression in your voice:
- Oh God. arise and loose my chains, in the name of Jesus.
- Any chain binding me, release me, in the name of Jesus.
It does not make any sense for anyone to behave like an ostrich. Many people go through this world as if they had no problem, burying their heads in the sand
as if everywhere was safe. Often times, they behave as if chains were normal. They view people with negative experiences as strange. Such people do not know that everyone on earth is suffering from one chain or the other. Men are chained; so also are woman.
Luke 13: 10 – 12 says:
And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
The devil is indeed wicked. There is nothing like mercy or compassion in his dictionary. He attacks either a woman or a child. The woman in question had been a victim of a wicked chain for 18 long years. When the enemy’s chain descended upon her, there was no respite. She was bowed and could not lift up herself. However, Jesus set her free. God’s heart is full of compassion and mercy. He is touched by our chains and moved by our bondage or imprisonment. Often when He finds us in bondage He responds by coming up with deliverance.
Psalm 68: 6 says:
God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound
with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
God is set to bring you out of your chains. The power of deliverance would put paid to your bondage. God will bring you out of the house of bondage. You cannot know the weight of a particular chain unless you are its victim. Beloved, some chains are very heavy. Such chains can so hedge victims that there can be no escape.
Lam 3: 7 says:
He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.
When a particular chain is described as heavy, it indicates that the bondage is indescribable. Chains vary in their intensity and aggression. A man who takes a bottle of beer is chained. The one who drinks three bottles and moves around the community has a bigger chain. However. the person who drinks a whole crate of beer and talks normally is heavily chained. This shows that there are levels of chains.
Basically, chains are instruments for binding. They are referred to as shackles and fetters. The purpose behind them is to lead people to bondage. They are instruments of wickedness and oppression. They are instruments of embargo placement on human lives. Destiny can be chained. Carriers, goals and objectives can come under the restraining power of evil chains. Families can be chained. Projects can also be chained.
The bottom line is that the purpose of chains is to introduce problems to people’s lives and situations.
Prayer Points
Section One
- Every power of limitation in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power holding tight to my advancement, your time is up, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every dark power assigned against my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Where my enemy says I will not reach, I will reach there by fire, in the name of Jesus
- Every power of my father’s house delegated to waste my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Where is the God of Elijah? Arise and pursue my pursuers.
- Every power closing the gate of breakthroughs against me, what are you waiting for? Die, in the name of Jesus
Section Two
- Holy Ghost fire, fire of deliverance, deliver me by fire, in the name of Jesus.
- Every garment of bondage on my spiritual body, burn, in the name
- Every branch of witchcraft in my family tree, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every evil covenant which my father’s house made with satan, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power of household wickedness working against me, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Star of my destiny, arise and shine, in the name of Jesus.
- Every yoke of hardship working against me, be broken, in the name of Jesus.
Section Three
- Every serpent and scorpion swallowing my benefits, vomit them and die, in the name of Jesus.
- All my blessings imprisoned by the grave, come forth, in the name of Jesus
- I release my blessings from the hands of any dead relatives, in the name of Jesus.
- I with draw my blessings from the hands of all dead enemies, in the name of Jesus.
- I disgrace every witchcraft burial, in the name of Jesus.
- Just as the grave could not detain Jesus, no power will detain my miracles,
in the name of Jesus.
- That which hinders me from greatness, give way now, in the name of Jesus.
Section Four
- Whatsoever has been done against me using the ground, be neutralised, in the name of Jesus.
- Every unfriendly friend, be exposed, in the name of Jesus.
- Anything representing my image in the spirit world, I withdraw you, in the name of Jesus.
- All the camps of my enemies, receive confusion, in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, empower my life with Your authority over every demonic force that set themselves against my life.
- Lord, let all the impossible begin to become possible for me in every department of my life.
- Lord, take me from where I am now to where You want me to be.
Section Five
- Lord, make a way for me where there is no way.
- Lord, grant me the power to be fulfilled, successful and prosperous.
- Lord, break me up in every department of my life.
- Lord, make me to break through into dumbfounding miracles in all areas of my life.
- Lord, make me to break out of every obstacle on my way to progress.
- Lord, establish me in truth, godliness and faithfulness.
- Lord, add flavour to my work.
Section Six
- Lord, add increase to my work.
- Lord, add profitability to my work.
- Lord, promote and preserve my life.
- I reject the plans and agenda of the enemies against my life, in the name of Jesus.
- I reject the assignments and weapons of the enemy against my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Let every weapon and evil design against me fall totally, in the name of Jesus.
- I reject premature death, in the name of Jesus.
Section Seven
- I reject nightmares and sudden destruction, in the name of Jesus.
- I reject dryness in my walk with God, in the name of Jesus.
- I reject financial debt, in the name of Jesus.
- I reject lack and famine in my life, in Jesus’ name.
- I reject physical and spiritual accident in my going in and coming out, in the name of Jesus.
- I reject sickness in my spirit, soul and body, in the name of Jesus.
- I stand against every work of evil in my life, in the name of Jesus.
