VICTORY IN THE HEAVENLIES – CHAPTER THREE || Command The Morning By Dr. D. K. Olukoya
There is a host of wickedness in the heavenlies. Their major preoccupation is to plan and execute evil. They are the brain behind all forms of wickedness. They decide and mastermind all the terrible things going on, on the earth. They also fill the heavenlies with terrible wickedness.
However, God has given us dominion over all elements in the heavenlies, including the spirits that rule them. God has given us power to exercise dominion over the sun, the moon and the stars. God knew that the heavenly bodies could misbehave. He knew that the children of darkness could also alter the cause of nature. He, therefore, gave us the power of dominion which he expects us to use to tame all elements of nature as well as every creature. To safeguard our existence on earth God has given us power.
The Bible says in Luke 10:19:
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
You have been endowed with power to exercise dominion over every work of creation. You have been empowered to rule over forces of nature and spirits. But when the power of darkness discovers that you do not know your rights in the kingdom of God they will try to exploit you. God also knows that the heavenly bodies could be exploited against us, that is why He has commanded us to exercise dominion over all works of creation.
We have challenging examples in the scriptures in form of instances where dominion, over the works of creation is exercised. There are records of men and women who dealt with the elements of nature. Moses is a good example;
Exod. 10:12-22: And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left. And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such. For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt. Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you. Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and entreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only. And he went out from Pharaoh, and entreated the LORD. And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go. And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
Moses unleashed darkness upon the land of Egypt by so doing, he was able to deal with the powers of Egypt. Elijah also exercised control or dominion over the hosts of heaven. Although Deborah was a woman yet she commanded the stars and sent them on assignment.
Judges 5:18-20: Zebulun and Naphtali were a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field. The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money. They fought from
heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
Isaiah also did exploits. He brought the sun dial of Ahaz 100 backward.
Isaiah 38:8: Behold, I will bring again the Shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. 50 the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.
Joshua also commanded the sun to stand still. He exercised power over one of the ordinances of Heaven.
Joshua 10:12: Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
If these Bible characters could control the elements of nature, you can do a lot more today.
We need to wake up and exercise our God given rights.
You can exercise your rights over the sun, the moon or the stars. You can stop the rain from falling. You can programme the heavenlies and make the forces of nature to obey you.
DISGRACED RAINMAKERS
Some years ago, a Christian sister exercised her rights by commanding the rain. She lost her father and she decided to carry out the burial on a particular day.
As the burial programme got under way, some demonic agents came to disturb them saying that they were rainmakers. They requested that they be offered goats, life chickens and some amount of money; that they were going to disturb the burial programme if what they requested for were not given them.
The sister stood up and said,
“Do you know who I am? You can’t disturb anything. God has given me dominion over every element of nature. You can’t disturb this burial programme. You may try but you will fail.”
The rainmakers went away in anger. They invoked rain through diabolical means. At the end of the day the rain fell but something strange happened. The vicinity of the burial programme did not experience any rainfall. There was a terrible flood. Power changed hands and the three rain makers died as a result of the flood, which produced by the rain invoked by them.
If you exercise your power over the power of darkness, you will always prevail. You need to understand the fact that satanic agents have changed their methods. The wicked of satanic agents no longer hang their charms on the neck.
In fact, they do not use any charm or amulet. They have now graduated to the level where they draw their power from the heavenlies. Just as people simply connect to the Internet and get information from distant continents, evil powers draw satanic information from the heavenlies.
We need to understand the new trends in the kingdom of darkness. Agents of darkness simply connect to the heavenlies and carry out their wicked activities. If the children of the devil can carry out their activities to such bizarre dimensions, what then are we doing?
Let us examine the challenge of the chapter given to us in
Job 38:12-13: Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
The Bible tells us that we are supposed to command the morning in order to arrest the tide of wickedness. If we are told to shake that wickedness from the earth, it shows that wickedness is
entrenched in the heavenlies.
If we fail to take action, wickedness will remain in place.
THE TEACHER AND THE MOON
A Christian sister once discovered the secrets, which we are sharing in this chapter. She took up some strange prayer points, which we encouraged people to pray. God gave her some startling revelation after prayers. She saw her children’s teacher seating on the moon. The teacher’s posture suggested that she was programming the moon against the sister’s children.
Meanwhile, the sister had noticed that her two children were the dullest in the class. She went straight to the school the following day to challenge the demonic teacher. She looked straight at the teacher’s eyeball and declared, “Listen to me I am different from the other parents. I know that you have been using the power, which you draw from the moon to work against my children. Enough of your attacks against my children’s brains. I’m going back home to pray. If you don’t let them go off your demonic hook, you are going to face real trouble.”
One would have thought that the teacher would pounce on the sister in anger. The teacher began to shiver. He apologized in low tones saying,
“I’m sorry, madam. I never knew that you understand what we have been doing. I won’t ever touch your children again.”
The sister’s children were released. There was a turn of events. The children that were formally dull suddenly become brilliant. That demonic teacher let them off the hook of every manipulation through the use of the moon.
