Prayer Focus

This prayer session is focused on confronting every atmosphere of fear, dread, heaviness, intimidation, discouragement, oppression, confusion, hopelessness, negativity, and spiritual discomfort surrounding your life.

The purpose is to invite the presence and peace of God, reject every destructive influence, strengthen faith and courage, and declare that every atmosphere contrary to God’s purpose must give way to His light, peace, and power.

Bible Exhortation

The Bible repeatedly teaches that God’s children should not be ruled by fear.

2 Timothy 1:7 declares that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Fear can create an atmosphere where the mind constantly expects danger, failure, rejection, or disaster. But the presence of God brings courage, peace, wisdom, and stability.

David declared in Psalm 23:4 that even when walking through the valley of the shadow of death, he would fear no evil because God was with him.

The believer’s confidence is therefore not based on the absence of difficult circumstances. It is based on the presence of God in the midst of them.
