Exhortation:
Beloved, let us strive for unity in our families and in the body of Christ. Division is a tool of the enemy, seeking to scatter and destroy the good work that God has begun in our midst. Let us put aside selfish ambition, bitterness, and unforgiveness. Instead, let us embrace love, understanding, and humility, bearing with one another in patience. Remember the strength that comes from being of one mind and one spirit. Let us actively work towards peace and harmony, for it is in unity that God commands His blessing.
Confession:
Heavenly Father, we come before you acknowledging the times we have allowed division to take root in our hearts, our families, and our church. We confess to moments of pride, stubbornness, and a lack of love that have created walls between us. We have sometimes listened to the whispers of the enemy, fostering discord and misunderstanding. Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have not actively pursued peace and unity. Cleanse our hearts from all bitterness and resentment. Help us to forgive as you have forgiven us. We turn away from the spirit of division and embrace the spirit of unity that comes from you.
